Do not pull the right hand back as you perform the next technique. Move the arm and the body together.

In forming the nukite strike, do not have your hand as you would when doing shuto uke. It should be more in the shape of a three dimensional spear head, with the thumb touching to the middle finger, and the four fingers not in a vertical alignment.

Move your whole body across to perform hidari shuto uke at 45%.

Do not just move the foot first and leave the body lagging behind. Move the body first and try to draw an arc with your foot to ensure that you do not shift body weight forward and then back to make it easy.
